Delete your data
Your SawaFone records are only on your phone. ETITE has no copy on any server, so there is nothing to delete on our side. You delete everything yourself, in the app.
In the app
- Open SawaFone and tap More.
- Tap Privacy & permissions.
- Tap Delete my data.
- Read what will be deleted, then tap Delete everything.
- If your phone has a screen lock, unlock it to confirm.
This can't be undone. To keep a copy, use Download my data first, on the same screen.
What is deleted
- your money records, reminders, notes and lists;
- people without a phone;
- pictures and files in your notes, and receipt photos;
- your settings;
- every backup in SawaFone's storage on this phone, and your saved recovery code.
The copy of your backup in your Google account goes the next time your phone backs up (usually at night, on Wi-Fi, while charging).
What stays
- Your contacts and calendar events. They live in your phone's own Contacts and Calendar apps. Delete them there if you want.
- A copy you saved yourself, from “Download my data” or a second backup copy (on an SD card or in Google Drive). Delete it where you saved it.
Uninstalling
Uninstalling SawaFone also deletes everything it keeps on the phone. A copy of the backup in your Google account follows Google's backup rules; it is locked, and nobody can open it without your recovery code.
